  I asked if they were LGBTQ friendly and pastor Paul wouldn't give me a straight answer. He instead insisted that my partner and I come in "for a talk"

  Looking for a church can be a bit scary for LGBTQ people. You don't want to be walking into a place where you're going to be ridiculed, unwelcome, or worse. Asking me to show up for a private meeting rather then just giving me a straight forward answer was a bit intimidating. Especially when my girlfriend e-mailed this same church, not realizing it was one I had talk to, and got a straight answer right away.
  
  I know how it is when it comes to Christian religions. I'm not gunna act like a church has to accommodate me, but just be up front with that information.
